Amalia Tsichla is an interaction designer who focuses on creating intriguing experiences that challenge the norm of human interaction. With a background in Computer Science and a working experience as a Web Designer for 4 years in a Digital Agency. She later decided to experiment in a new and challenging field; and therefore she completed the Interaction Design Masters course of Edinburgh Napier University and discovered her great inclination to design artworks and develop projects that spotlight the human experience and connect the physical with the digital world without being confined by the limits of the screen. She enjoys blending sound, light and movement for the creation of immersive interactive experiences and appreciates working in multi-disciplinary environments. Amalia is currently exploring new methods and modalities of interaction by means of creative prototyping, such as the arduino platform.
