Title: Sound, Space, Site
Lecturer: John Grzinich
closed lecture: only for the workshop's participants
American born artist John Grzinich works across different media but has developed a unique focus on sound over the years. His interest in the relationships between sound, space and site has been influenced partly from his background training as an architect but is also driven by a desire to explore signification through forms of non-verbal communication and spatial perception from an auditory perspective. This has resulted in a history of works as installations, performances, films and an extensive body of experimental workshops based on participatory and collaborative methodologies.
